The Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering (IITE) organized an Induction and Student Empowerment Program for First year students of IITE and ISHLS from 8-9 September 2022.The aim of the program was to make the students aware about Indus University culture ,academic rules and regulations, facilities and academic philosophy, create personal bonding, set-higher education in new environments, sensitize expectations from the self as-well people around etc.The event was graced by Shri Maulin Pandya, Chief Guest of the function, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Chakravorty-Executive President, Prof. (Dr.) Vedvyas Dwivedi- Executive Vice President, Dr. R.K. Singh-Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Ishbir Singh-Director,IITE and Dr. Manisha Ubale-Dean,ISHLS, Indus University. Prof. (Dr.) Ishbir Singh, Director IITE welcomed all the dignitaries, faculty members, parents and first year students. He addressed and motivated students by suggesting them to be proactive, work harder, get involved in what they like most, explore new places, new people, new methods and new knowledge. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Chakravorty, Executive President addressed students by saying that Indus University will facilitate your physical well-being, mental well-being that will enhance your IQ, EQ, and SQ. Indus University has an excellent ecosystem for exploring and experimenting in entrepreneurship, start-up and incubation, issues on sustainable cities and Software development etc. Prof. (Dr.) Vedvyas Dwivedi- Executive Vice President prophesied the success mantra that lies in self and ability to develop these qualities such as sincerity in efforts and managing personal time so that you could best contribute for growth of society and motherland. With an insight of knowledge and a variety of industrial experience, Chief Guest Shri Maulin Pandya shared his life experience on time management, goal settings and ways to achieve them in a short time period.
