The Department of Chemistry at Indus University Ahmedabad started with an objective to prepare industry ready students with special emphasis on strengthening the research and education of society. Our department holds two state of the art modern laboratories to carry out practicals of UG and PG students. Our faculties are well qualified and trained in diverse disciplines to train students and do research in the field of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry and biochemistry. Our laboratories are spacious enough to train large group of students. Keeping in mind the laboratory safety standards and guidelines, our laboratories are well conditioned to include necessary safety equipment which are periodically monitored. Our laboratories are well equipped to carry out post graduate as well as doctoral research which is evident from the solid publication record of the department.
