The inaugural program of Certification Course on Lift Maintenance was held on 14/03/2022 from 10:30 am onwards. This course is being offered jointly by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indus University

The inaugural program was graced by Executive President, Vice-Chancellor Indus University, Dr Sandeep Chakravorty, Registrar Indus University, Dr R K Singh, Director, IITE and Dr Sujoy Chaudhury. external experts from Trio Elevators and Escalators. Mr Jayeshkumar Joshi and Mr Bhavin Trivedi, HoDs of various Departments, faculty members, students and participants of the program.

Total 33 students from various departments participated in this certification course, which aims at providing hands-on experience to the participants in the area of lift maintenance. It is a 25-hour course that is a blend of theory and hands-on and will help the participants a lot in their future endeavours.
