Certificate Course in Internet of Things

Certificate Course in
Internet of Things

Course Details

IoT - The Internet of Things is a network of hardware entities integrated to capture and transfer data with applications, sensors, and network communication. Letting them transmit data and automate tasks makes ordinary object's smart without manual intervention.

An IoT device can be as easy as a wearable health-tracking device or as engaged in its provinces as a smart city with sensors. One of the most popular IoT examples is "Smart Home". From your thermostat to your lighting and even the background noise in your home, it enables you to track everything. A prospect for an IoT system is any entity linked to the internet and operated that way.

Experts from the industry personalize the IoT Certification Course. You will be working with Sense HAT, Azure IoT Hub and Alexa Voice on Raspberry Pi and acquire hands-on experience. In-depth subjects such as the IoT framework, networking protocols, the IoT ecosystem, the IoT solution's architecture, and application layer protocols will also be covered. This course includes a tutorial and case studies in real life to support your master's in IoT technology. To program an IoT, an in-depth skill stage that concerns modifying physical processors and programming wireless devices are required.

Eligibility

To become eligible for registering for a certificate course on the Internet of Things, you must be from the background of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). There is no pre-requisite for the courses. Even higher secondary students of the science stream can opt.

Internet of Things (IoT) Laboratory

The Internet of Things is ushering in a new era of technology. It is set to change consumer habits and how business is conducted. This laboratory aims to make devices and objects smarter by linking them to the internet. The basic building blocks of IoT Network includes development boards like Arduino and Raspberry Pi and are the most advanced credit card-sized computers with all the features that a computer is supposed to have. Students can browse, play games and develop mobile or desktop applications with a system configured with such development boards. This laboratory has Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards with different communication protocols and interfacing sensors.

This laboratory aims to understand the definition and significance of the Internet of Things and its Architecture and to develop the skills of Arduino Programming and Raspberry Pi for implementing Embedded System Applications.

The lab is fully equipped with various development boards like Arduino, raspberry pi, ESP32, ESP8266 Wifi Module, various sensors viz, temperature, pressure, LDR, Light, IR sensor, etc. along with GSM/GPRS, Xbee and Bluetooth module for implementation of IoT applications.
