We have a well-equipped photography studio set up for the use of students where they can shoot their designed products.
Each student has access to licensed Adobe software installed in communication studio computers.
We have a high-quality projector in each studio classroom that students and faculty can use to conduct daily presentations and classes.
The fashion design studio consists of electronic sewing machines and overlocking machines. The students also get to practice draping on the body-forms that are available in the classroom for better understanding of draping and pattern making.
We supply our students with specifically built drafting tables and chairs that are ergonomically necessary when working on the designs.
A well-equipped workshop for the students to use which will help the students for hands on skills like model making.
The faculty at IDS are world-class academicians who share the same passion for their respective design fields as the students. They come from across the country, bringing diverse knowledge, methods, culture and outlook. The rich faculty lineup also consists of members continuing their research programs as well as practitioners while teaching at IDS. The school maintains an apt faculty-student ratio, making the faculty more accessible and involved in the training process, becoming their mentors and advisors.
We provide safe and secure transport services to students and faculty members. The vehicle includes buses that run on specific routes covering more than 60% of Ahmedabad city. Other than private university buses, local buses are accessible to reach campus.
Food at the canteen is well cooked considering students and faculty members' different tastes and preferences. We use steam boilers for cooking rice and vegetables for providing quality & hygienic food.
The food served at the canteen is examined regularly to ensure the freshness and hygiene of food. The canteen has been divided into two parts: 1. Students and 2. Staff members. Being capacious, both can accommodate about 250 students and faculty members at a time.
Entertainment & Sports Facilities
We believe that the students should evolve the coordination and enthusiasm for the studies and the athletic program. Our sports facilities will improve and develop the fitness and concentration level of the students. It increases brain to body coordination and promotes concentration levels and a sense of balance in sportspersons. Since its inception, Indus University has been teaching the students the culture of sportsmanship and spirit.
We also organize Inter College Sports Fest, Sports Meet, Indoor Games Competitions, Sports Function, etc. These events engage the students and help them discover their talent in sports.

It has a collection of over 36000 volumes of books, besides subscriptions for more than 250 national and international journals. Books, journals, and project reports are available on electronic devices, CDs, and DVDs.
A reprographic facility is available. An organized practice is implemented to lend book/s or other resources, maintaining coherence within the system.

The objective of conferences, seminars and workshops is to gather like-minded intellectuals and professionals to exchange ideas, thoughts, and opinions related to a specific topic such as Proficiency in Verbal Communication, Acquirement of Knowledge in a Particular Field, and Development in Networking benefits from conferences, seminars and workshops.

Appear for the Entrance Exam
The Entrance Exam is in 3 Stages:
Stage 1: Written Aptitude Test The design test will consist of objective-type questions, which will assess your logical skills and aptitude for design.
Stage 2: Studio Test the Studio test will consist of a creative writing test, drawing test, which will assess your creative skills and hand skills.
Stage 3: Personal Interview At the personal interview round, you will be tested for design knowledge, awareness and interpretations, along with a review of your portfolio which you are required to bring along with you.
Please note keeping in view the ongoing pandemic of COVID 19, and the panel members will review all the submitted portfolios. Personal interviews will be conducted online or offline, depending on the prevailing situation.
Interested prospects should achieve at least 50% or above in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
Candidates can complete 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
