The department of Automobile Engineering boasts four state-of-the-art laboratories to facilitate the young curiosity, to cater the exclusivity of technology and consolidation of fundamentals. The field of Automobile Engineering is amalgamation of technological advances and fundamental principles. The recent advancements in environmental conservation, the alternative fuel research, the hybrid technologies as well as basic IC engine performance, repair and understanding modules are encompassed.

Automobile Engines Laboratory

The objectives of this laboratory is to gain comprehensive understanding of principles of engine operation, examine its parameters, and analyse them. The laboratory is equipped with a variety of test rigs (diesel/petrol), an exhaust gas analyzer, a rope brake dynamo-meter, a cut part of an entire four-wheeler, and other modules for performing and studying the core of engineering.

The facility is also equipped with a variety of studies, including an engine test setup that can accommodate blends and futuristic alternative fuels.

The goal of the department is to teach students not only how to analyse and build machines, but also how to repair, diagnose, and replace various components and systems of an automobile.

The laboratory is equipped with industry-specific repairing/diagnosing equipment such as an injector cleaning machine, a wheel balancing machine, a wheel alignment assembly, as well as the necessary pit and tools for servicing and diagnosing a car. The understanding and method of serving prepares applicants for a brighter future.

Two and Three Wheeler’s Laboratory

The two and three Wheeler's lab is located on the ground floor of the Bhanwar Building with the goal of developing a knowledge of recent technical breakthroughs and educating students about contemporary technological innovations.

Cut Sections of various systems utilized in two and three Wheeler's, as well as the electric version of two Wheeler's, are on display in the laboratory.

Refrigeration and temperature control science is an elective offered by the Department of Automobile Engineering.
