The aviation programmes at Indus University are designed to develop industry-ready professionals capable of managing modern aviation operations and aviation-related businesses. The programme is delivered in academic collaboration with WIIA (Western India Institute of Aeronautics), a premier aviation institute with more than 20 years of industry legacy, ensuring that the curriculum remains aligned with current aviation practices, technologies, and industry requirements.
The department focuses on developing analytical thinking, leadership skills, aviation domain knowledge, operational understanding, and professional communication abilities among students, preparing them for managerial roles across aviation and corporate sectors.
The BBA (Honours) in Aviation Management is a unique four-year undergraduate programme designed to integrate core business management education with specialized aviation industry expertise.
This blended academic structure enables students to develop strong knowledge of management principles along with aviation operations, opening career opportunities not only in airlines and airports but also in corporate management, logistics, finance, marketing, and emerging aviation sectors.

Yes. This programme combines the strengths of a regular BBA with specialized aviation knowledge, providing wider career opportunities in both aviation and corporate sectors.
This programme does not provide pilot training. However, the aviation knowledge gained can complement pilot training if pursued separately.
The additional year provides deeper specialization, practical exposure, research orientation, and enhanced industry readiness.
