Three-Day Workshop on “Mock Group Discussion and Interview Session”:

The Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS), Indus University, successfully organized a three-day workshop on “Mock Group Discussion and Interview Session” from October 8th to 10th, 2025, for IMBA 7th-semester students. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ employability skills through practical training in resume building, group discussions, and interview techniques. Ms. Ruchika Sharma conducted an insightful session on resume building, focusing on effective formats and professional presentation, while Mr. Amit Singh (Deputy T&P Officer, Indus University) guided students on training and placement strategies to boost their career readiness. More than 40 students participated enthusiastically, making the workshop a valuable learning experience.

Industry Guest Session on “Gift City – A FINTECH HUB”

On 7th October 2025, Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) organized an Industry Guest Session, where Mr. Parth Shah, Chairman of the Gandhinagar (Gift City) Chapter of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, spoke on 'Gift City – A FINTECH HUB: Opportunities for Management Students.' Through a detailed PowerPoint presentation, he explained Gift City’s layout, tax benefits, types of companies operating there, and the vast opportunities for MBA students. The session was attended by over 130 MBA students and faculty members.

One-Day Certificate Program on POSH Act Compliance & Workplace Ethics

Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) and Indus Institute of Law (IIL), in association with IQAC, successfully organized a one-day certificate program on POSH Act Compliance and Workplace Ethics. Over 90 students participated, gaining insights from Dr. Ishani Dave (GLS University) on the POSH Act and fostering an ethical workplace culture.
