Communication Design

Communication Design is a component of design that uses visuals that strategically convey a message or express information. Communication Designers take an approach to engage their viewers and communicate the data and knowledge in the message clearly, majorly through print or electronic media. Those who complete a Communication Design course usually work as Graphic Designer, Print Media Designer, UI/UX Designer, Information Designer, Web Designer, Visual Designer, Animator, Creative Director, Design Thinking Expert, Brand Manager, etc. 

Communication design helps to make visual hierarchies. From the early school of graphic design and art, this discipline has drawn many students, leading to the growth in the school of thought and how it can play a critical role in the human communication process. In this competitive world, print media, photography, film making, game design, animation, analysis, exchange design, digital media, etc., have provided communication design with a professional touch. This emerging component of the study has led to viable findings of innovative design and applies them for a change in this society.

Sketching, Letter Design, Typology, Presentation Techniques, Graphic Software Study (Multiple Software and their application), Basic of Graphic Design, Colour Psychology, Design Process and Research Methodology, Publication Design, Visual Ergonomics, Infographics, Visual Merchandising, Packaging, Signage Design, Script Writing, Storyboarding & Cinematography, Principal & Type of Animation, Character Design, Photography, Autodesk, Maya and more.  

Our Admission Process consists of 2 simple steps:

  1. Fill-up the Online Registration form.
  2. Appear for the Entrance Exam (which contains 2 stages)

The Entrance Exam is in 2 Stages:

Stage 1: Aptitude Test The design test will consist of two parts. Part a: Objective-type questions, which will assess your logical skills and aptitude for design. Part b: Drawing test, which will assess your creative skills and hand skills.

Stage 2: Personal Interview At the personal interview round, you will be tested for design knowledge, communication skills, awareness, and interpretations, along with a review of your portfolio which you are required to bring along with you.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Interested prospects should achieve at least 50% or above in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
  • Candidates can complete 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
