Industrial Design - Product Design

Product Design is a course that deals with the design, manufacturing, and usefulness of products around us. A course in Product Design trains students for a career in product designing and manufacturing industries. Students are taught in-depth skills on tackling complicated problems, exploring innovative solutions, designing skills, and much more. The course has enormous demand opportunities in different fields of product industries & companies.

Since each product we come across in our day-to-day lives consists of some products, product designers are interested in designing and manufacturing every product we use, purchase, or see around us. Therefore, they play an essential role in product and design.

The Subjects are categorized into 5 types:

  1. Product Design has big Influence in day to day life and has larger human interaction as we come across many products in a day from start to end of the day.
  2. The Product Design has wide range of industry applications as it has its footprint in aerospace, automotive, medical, Agriculture, and many more sectors
  3. It also helps the candidates to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills which are the most demanded skills in this current fast moving world 
  4. After a Product design course, prospects can work with recruiters or independently He/ She can do freelance works or set a startup or Design consultancy on their own which also makes them to earn more money on own
  5. It also gives knowledge about how to do Market study and improvise candidate entrepreneur skills 

Our Admission Process consists of 2 simple steps:

  1. Fill-up the Online Registration form.
  2. Appear for the Entrance Exam (which contains 2 stages)

The Entrance Exam is in 2 Stages:

Stage 1: Aptitude Test The design test will consist of two parts. Part a: Objective-type questions, which will assess your logical skills and aptitude for design. Part b: Drawing test, which will assess your creative skills and hand skills.

Stage 2: Personal Interview At the personal interview round, you will be tested for design knowledge, communication skills, awareness, and interpretations, along with a review of your portfolio which you are required to bring along with you.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Interested prospects should achieve at least 50% or above in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
  • Candidates can complete 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
