Department Activities

Shaping the Future with Semiconductors

The Department of Electronics & Communication, IITE, Indus University successfully organized a Two-Day National Level Workshop on “Semiconductor Design and Applications” on 29–30 January 2026, sponsored by GUJCOST and conducted in collaboration with eInfochips (An Arrow Company), Ahmedabad. The workshop offered rich insights into VLSI design, fabrication, packaging, and real-world semiconductor applications, making it highly informative and impactful for students.

Alumni Talk Highlight

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering successfully organized an Alumni Talk on “Global Tech Career Roadmap” on 29th January 2026. The session was led by Mr. Sneh Patel (Alumnus 2019–2023, CSE), currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Google (USA). He shared valuable insights on global tech careers, industry expectations, essential skills, and his inspiring journey from campus to Google. The talk was highly informative and motivating, helping students gain clarity on career planning and growth in the software industry.

Winter School–2025

Winter School–2025 | Civil Engineering | Indus University Winter School–2025, conducted from 08–13 December 2025, offered a week of skill development and hands-on learning for B.Tech and Diploma students. The program included expert talks and alumni interactions, along with personality development sessions and exposure to emerging technologies in civil engineering. Industrial visits to Pidilite Advanced Skills Center and Institute of Seismological Research gave students valuable industry and research insights. Overall, Winter School–2025 enhanced students’ skills, confidence, and career readiness, bridging academics with real-world applications.
