Indus University offers a  Dual Degree program that combines a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA). BCA – 3 Years (6 Semesters)

Dual Degree MCA – 5 Years (10 Semesters)

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who earned at least 45% in the Science, Commerce, or Arts subjects in their Higher Secondary (10+2) test. (Reserved categories receive a 5% relaxation).

The applicant ought to have taken the following courses in higher secondary school: English/Mathematics/Statistics/Accountancy/Physics/Computer (anyone subject)

Expert Lecture on Artificial Intelligence

On October 17, 2024, the Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (ACSIT) and DCS, IIICT organized an Expert Lecture on Artificial Intelligence at the MBA Seminar Hall of Indus University. Students and faculty explored AI fundamentals, and its historical milestones, and delved into the complexities of Black Box AI and its interpretability challenges. The session provided valuable insights into AI’s potential and was a successful peer learning experience.

Parents-Teachers Meet

The Department of Computer Science at IIICT organized a Parents-Teachers Meeting on October 16, 2024, which saw the participation of over 15 parents from various courses The meeting facilitated productive interactions between parents, subject teachers, and mentors, focusing on students' performance in individual subjects, classroom discipline, and attendance rates. Parents expressed satisfaction with the department’s academic approach, and CIE marks across all theory subjects were reviewed and discussed with them.

Certification Course on "Film Making Techniques"

The Department of Computer Science at the Indus Institute of Information & Communication Technology, Indus University, successfully organized a certification course on "Film Making Techniques" from August 30 2024, conducted by Dr. Hardik Singh Rayjada. Participants thoroughly enjoyed learning various techniques and mastering key aspects of production planning, scriptwriting, and film release.
