On the Auspicious occasion of the birthday of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an eminent founder & Engineer of our beloved Country, Indus University organized its first Technical Event – Extempore Expression of Engineering Skill (EEES) in the memory of this great engineer and statesman.

EEES is an effort to bring out and enhance the potential engineering skills which reside in every student, a Technical Event to provide prototype real world experience to all. We had 33 groups of participants who were judged in their respective engineering skills in a time slot of 45 minutes.

The entire student strength after conducting the elimination round, which happened on Sept 14^th evening, were segregated into three different groups named (MAM), (EE, EEE, EC) and (CE,MCA,MSC-ICT).

Participants form the third, fifth and seventh semester participated while there was a different theme for students of first semester.

The event was celebrated in grand style. It was graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Dr. Naresh Jotwani, Deputy Director (R&D) and Principal at Ganpat University, who spoke to the students about how the concept of engineering came into being. Our guest of honor, Prof. J.D Vyas also was present and motivated the participants by his immense experience and expertise.

Our external jury members were all people from the industry who helped our students and gave them better insights on how to apply their basic knowledge in practical real world problems.

Mr. Nilendu Desai, a free lance consultant and a visiting faculty at Indus, Mr. Pankaj Kumar and Mr. Pankaj Tambulkar from ISRO were among the external jury members.

Our honorable Patron, Associate Patron and the Vice Chancellor were also present at the venue to grace the occasion and to motivate the budding engineers of tomorrow.

The event was concluded with the review and assessment round by the jury members and cash prizes were given away to all the winners by the judges.

The atmosphere was electric and assured that activities and events like these can do wonders for our student fraternity. The entire academic team along with the guidance from the seniors will enthusiastically participate in all related events and consistently make efforts to bring real time education and practices to the campus of Indus University.
