“RECONNECT 2020” was organized by The Alumni Association of Indus University  to reunite and cherish all the joys and golden Memories of our alumnus.The aim of this event was to develop strong nurturing network between present students and alumni through this event ,also offered an opportunities for many to connect and re-connect for future goals.

The focus of the session is to elucidate the prospects of pursuing abroad studies and also clarify queries of the students as how to go about doing the same. Also other session has given insight into the IT fields currently having more feasible opportunities and elaborated on the essentials for getting good jobs.

Participation

190+ total participants were there. All the final semester students from CE,CS,IT have participated in the event.

The entire event was divided into three sessions,

• Expert talk on ”Career Guidance and Counselling for abroad studies” by Ms. Anoushka Doctor, Education Counselor, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
• Experience sharing : “Road to be a Software Engineer” by Mr.Madhav Patel,Software Engineer at Intel  Corporation,Portland, Oregon, USA.
• Expert talk on “Recent Trends in IT industry:Opportunities and Expectation” by Ms.Mohana Iyer, Senior Software Engineer at Envestnet Yodlee, Banglore.
