The Education Department, Government of Gujarat has taken series of initiatives to design and develop innovation processes and ecosystem. Student Startup Innovation Policy (SSIP) is pioneering series of interventions at state level, and Gujarat Hackathon is an annual flagship program where young students can leverage their technical skills to solve real life challenges posed by various stakeholders.

Smart Gujarat for new India Hackathon is an annual flagship program where young students can leverage their technical skills to solve real life challenges posed by various stakeholders. Through these programs, students will work on real life challenges of SMEs, Industries and Large corporations, Social sector and Public systems.

INDUS University always encourage and motivate the students for innovations and come up with new ideas to solve real time problems. This year total 34 teams from different departments are selected for regional round of smart Gujarat for New India Hackathon 2019-20.
