Workshop - An approach to Heat Exchanger Design

Professor Krunal Parikh & Professor Gaurav Patel carried out a workshop on ‘an approach to heat exchanger design’ in the CAD lab of mechanical department, Indus University. This workshop was scheduled on 8th and 9th of August 2019. Upon completion of this workshop now, students can understand the working of heat exchangers, the difference in rating and designing problem of heat exchangers and additionally, they got an idea of how heat exchanger is designed (thermal design). Moreover, students learned how to design plate type heat exchanger in software & analytically, as well as got an idea about designing of shell and tube heat exchanger.
