Awareness on Fusion 360

Professor Bhavik Soneji conducted a two-day awareness workshop on ‘Fusion 360’ on 31st January and 1st February 2019. It was chiefly organized for 4th, 6th, and 8th-semester B.Tech and M.Tech students. The aim was to introduce students to new trends and technology in the Design field using Fusion 360 and to encourage them to join skill development course for better career prospects. Cloud storage technology, different modules like modeling, assembly & stimulation were explained followed by relevant examples to offer a better understanding of the matter. Active participation from both the sides made this workshop a great success.

On 12th January 2019, Faculty Development Programme on ‘Fusion 360’ was organized by Professor Bhavik Soneji. It envisioned producing opportunities for the faculty members in the field of Fusion 360 by teaching about various new trends and technology in the Design field. The session proved to be illuminating and useful.

TECHNICAL SESSIONS:

Session I:
Prof Bhavik Soneji delivered a keynote address on “Features of Fusion 360”. He further explained how to begin with fusion 360, its necessary modules and cloud storage in detail.

Session II:
Participants formed numerous models in the modeling module and performed assembly tasks set by the host. The programme concluded by imparting information about additional features related to the academic use of Fusion 360.
