The event INTERCONNECT 2021, which was organized on 25th January 2021, where acts of brilliant and talented students of Indus University were brought out of their hidden aptitude, along with a graceful farewell to our seniors. The event was successfully completed with enormous strength having the participation of 60 people in Google Meet, 1.6K+ views, and 500+ live viewers on YouTube.

Inauguration

The first part of the event began on 25th January 2021 with the Inauguration ceremony at 10:00 A.M and a welcome speech by Prof. Sejal Thakkar followed by offering our prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Dr.-Ing. Anupam Kumar Singh-Director IITE gave opening remarks and officially started the event. After that our modest HOD Dr. Seema Mahajan addressed with her kind words.

Computer Engineering Student Association

Introduction to our team and faculty members was given.

The events, workshops, webinar, competitions, Training, and courses, etc were  organized previously. Also the coding events and competitions conducted for students to showcase their problem solving and coding skills were conducted.

Talent hunt 

Timing: 10:50 A.M – 12:00 P.M

In talent hunt, there were in total four categories:

•Singing
•Instrument playing
•Creative mic
•Dancing

The jury members for the event were,  Prof. Vineeta Chauhan (Assistant Professor, Indus University), Prof. Tejal Shah (Assistant Professor, Indus University), Prof. Nirali Dave (Assistant Professor, Indus University), Prof. Charmi Shah (Assistant Professor, Indus University), Prof. Disha Parekh (Assistant Professor, Indus University), Prof. Vishal Dahiya (Assistant Professor, Indus University).

Farewell

Timing: 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM

We gave a farewell to our seniors and appreciated the tremendous contribution of last year’s CESA committee. How fast the moment had come that we had to see off them. However, it was a happy moment for them as they have completed their studies and are going to make their career.

Mr. Kaushil Kundalia and Mr. Jeet Khimani shared their journey.

Momentous and appreciation certificates were handed to the senior committee.
