Department of Languages at Indus University organized a literary event Dastaan: A Story Writing Competition on 29^th September 2021. The event was catered to the first, second and third year students of all the branches across institutes.  The competition was judged on the basis of the stories composed and narrated by students. They were able to bring forth thoughtful & creative representations of the theme ‘Post-Apocalyptic World’.  The first position was secured by Mr. Visarg Acharya from IISHLS, second prize went to Ms. Chhaya Shukla from IATE and Ms. Krupali Trivedi & Ms. Yakshangi Joshi from IITE stood at third position.  The competition was judged by Dr. Akshara Dave from IICT and moderated by Ms. Pranjal Bhatt under the guidance & support of the Head of the department of Languages Dr. Mamta Pillai.  All participants were appreciated for their creativity in writing skills.
