The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) India and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has taken an initiative to develop Robotics laboratories in the various Institutions throughout India. For the same, they have launched an E-Yantra. E-Yantra – a project in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), IIT Bombay – is a flagship project of MHRD through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) to spread embedded systems and Robotics education in colleges across India.
E-YANTRA LAB SET-UP INITIATIVE (eLSI):
E-Yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI) supports infrastructure creation at colleges by providing a platform for inducting teachers in Project-Based Learning or “Learning by doing”.
At Indus, We have taken an initiative to set-up the E-Yantra laboratory of “Robotics Lab” at our premises. As a part of the process, our team has successfully completed task-based training (TBT) being given by the E-Yantra IIT Bombay team. It is an honor to all of us as we have on the final stage of the establishment of the E-Yantra lab at our campus.
As Robotic Technology is a multidisciplinary approach so not only the Mechanical engineering domain is getting benefited but all other engineering domains are also getting leverage.
More specific are the following outcomes expected :
To achieve all the above-committed outcomes, we are in the next phase for the inauguration of the E-Yantra lab.
It is our honor to invite you to the inauguration.
