Department of Computer Science, IIICT has organized an  Expert Talk on “Software Testing as a Career ” on 30th September, 2021 during 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM under the Association of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Expert talk was started with opening remarks given by President of student association ACSIT,  Harshit Shah. Expert for the session was Mr. Aakar Gupte, Sr. QA Automation Lead at AIT Global India, Alumni of MCA 2010-2013 batch. 

Mr. Aakar Gupte has started the conversation regarding the importance of testing in real life. He covered concepts like Qualities of software tester, various domains in which testing is used. He also explained in detail about required skills and basic key responsibilities of testers. He explained the difference between positive & negative test cases. Also he  shows the importance of requirement analysis for testers.He showed this using two real life scenarios. Session was thoroughly interactive. And students have participated in discussions. At the end faculty coordinator has expressed thanks notes to the speaker as well as to participants. More than 60 students participated in the session. 

At the end of the session students have asked questions related to DevOps and the proper guidance was given by the expert. It was a very helpful and interactive session. Faculty coordinators have expressed a thank you note for the session.
