Live Streaming Session on Interim Union Budget 2019-20 Organized by IIMS

A live screening of the most awaited Interim Union Budget 2019 -20 was organized by Indus Institute of Management Studies, on 1st February 2019. A healthy discussion on different sectors was carried out after the screening.

Dividing the teams based on sectors, students were asked to note important points from the finance minister’s speech. Later on, the best team was asked to narrate the important points in the budget, plus, to discuss the impact of the new budget on different sectors and economy.

This activity was carried out to build – listening skills, encourage productive thoughts and to make them learn – how the information is analyzed. The chief objective of this session was to boost teamwork. Rewards were declared too, to motivate students to participate more in such activities.
