Guest Lecture: Dr Krishan Pal Singh
Dr Krishan Pal Singh rendered lecture on Water Management and Conservation at IU Auditorium on 16th October 2015 during 11:30 am to 12:30 afternoon.
Dr K P Singh has got doctorate in History of Water Management in Rajasthan. He is M. Phill. in Arts in Ancient Indian History and Masters in Arts in Archaeology, history and sociology.
Dr K P Singh interested in areas of Water management, Hydraulic structures, Early domestication, Semi-acid desertification and livelihood, Agricultural system, Bronze Age, Traditional Science and Technology.
Dr Singh shown a presentation and described on various water storage system earlier developed in Gujarat and Rajasthan including preservation techniques.
Students and faculties of B Arch and Civil department obtained such knowledge in brief and enjoyed the lectured.
