“IN-US ‘15” – Monsoon Workshop Week

Institute of Design, Environment and Architecture (IDEA), Indus University, has hosted the Monsoon Workshop Week “IN-US ‘15” from 7^th September 2015 to 13^th September 2015. This workshop is an extension of the ideology of Indus University to promote learning away from the routine of classroom environment.

The week saw students participating in various modules of creative, technical and hands on activities like 3D modelling, Architectural Photography, Origami, Exploration with Paper, Tribal Art – Mud and Mirror and Sculptural Fibre Casting.

These workshops saw students grow not only as individuals but also as collaborators within teams. The institute’s objective for conducting such workshop week is to boost student interaction across disciplines, generate opportunity for students to express themselves using different mediums and provide them platforms to apply their academic learning and make education a holistic experience.

Student work made during the workshop will be exhibited on 15^th and 16^th September, 2015 from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. The exhibition will be open for all.
