Students of MBA organized an event for house-keeping and Support staff on Saturday, 23rd November, 2013. The main objective of this event was to give recognition to the service rendered by these low rank employees to the University. The other aim was to inculcate philanthropic attitude in MBA students.

 

Rahul Gajjar MBA-Finance commenced the program by seeking introduction of the participants by making them play ‘passing the parcel’. Kiran Paranjpe, an HR MBA student explained the significance of the program. Thereafter Jitendra Aseri, MBA-Marketing student showed video clips for creating awareness about Child Education and Women Empowerment. The main attraction of the program was a skit titled as ‘Murda,’ scripted and directed by Mayur Barot and enacted by the students of Semester 1 and 3 to impress upon the audience the hazardous effects of Wine and Tobacco.

 

A game, ‘Pop Up, The Pop Corn’ conducted by Rahul Gajjar (MBA-Finance) and Parth Rawal (MBA-H.R.) drew huge participation. This game was followed by a drawing competition in which all the participants were divided in group of five each. This competition was held to offer the participants an opportunity to showcase their creative ability. All the groups created beautiful drawings that surprised everybody with their creativity. MBA students served the participants refreshment and also picked up empty plates and glasses themselves.

 

Outdoor game ‘Tug Of War’ was arranged in the open ground in which all the candidates participated with enthusiasm. To test their presence of mind and spontaneity a rapid fire round of question was asked to a few of the candidates, and everybody enjoyed the responses given by them to the questions.

 

The program concluded by announcement of winners of different games/competitions which was done by Chitrangana Shah, a student of MBA-H.R. The program was a huge success and the participants felt greatly motivated. The students too learnt many management lessons.
