The Department of Computer Science, IIICT has organized an online Teachers’ Day celebration under the Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (ACSIT) on Saturday, 5th September, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the MBA Seminar Hall, Main Building.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and faculties. It was followed by the motivational address by Dr. R. K. Balyan sir (Dean Administration), Dr. Sandeep Chakravorty sir (Dean Academics) and Dr. R. K. Singh sir (Registrar) of Indus University.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic students can not come to the college to participate in this celebration, we have arranged online competitions such as logo design, video making and essay writing. Each competition had an individual theme which enhanced the creativity and thinking ability of students. In this competition, 40+ students had participated. In logo design, participants have designed the logo on the theme “Emerging Technologies”. In essay writing, the theme was “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” in which students were allowed to write an essay in English, Gujarati or Hindi languages. In video making, the theme was “Role of Education in Life” in which participants have prepared the video of 1-2 minutes.

In the prize distribution ceremony winners and runners-ups were awarded with prizes and certificates by the respective faculty coordinators and judges. All participants were encouraged with an e-certificate. The celebration was ended with the vote of thanks given by Dr. Vishal Dahiya madam (I/c Director & HOD, DCS, IIICT).
