“The Ph.D. Orientation Program January 2022 for Ph.D. Research Scholars was organized by Ph.D. Cell, Indus University on 22nd January 2022. The orientation program began with the inauguration. The opening remark was delivered by Dr. Sujoy Chaudhary, Dean of Research Development & Innovation, Indus University. Dr. Sandeep Chakravorty, Dean Academics of Indus University steered scholars regarding the importance of good quality research. Honourable Prof. (Dr.) V. K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor (Executive President), Indus University elucidated the roots of research and why it should be oriented towards solving the problems of society. Chief Guest Dr. Anil Bhardwaj, Director, Physical Research Laboratory, illuminated the research scholars about Discovery and Research. He enlightens attendees that there is no shortcut to hard work and research is a never-ending process. Dr. R. K. Singh, Registrar, Indus University concluded the inaugural session by thanking dignitaries and imparting best wishes to the prospective scholars. Dr. Sweta Shah, Assistant Dean of Research Development & Innovation, presented Ph.D. guidelines and shared all the valuable information required to make scholars’ journey doubt-free. After the question-answer session, Dr. Dhiren R. Patel, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department concluded the Ph.D. Orientation for January 2022 batch with the vote of thanks.”
