A webinar on product design was held on online platform google meet. The theme was “Talk on “Revolution in Industries after Covid-19 & How to Design Technology to help
Engineers in Professional Life?”. The webinar was jointly organized at Indus University on 21st July 2020 by the Department of Mechanical & Khodiyar CAD center. Total 94 students & 7 faculty members from the Mechanical Engineering department had participated in the workshop.

The gathering was heartily welcomed by Asst. Prof. Savan Fefar, Mechanical department, ITE, Indus University. The program was then followed by the Opening remarks by Prof. Dr-Ing. Anupum Kumar Singh, Director-ITE, Indus University.

The brief description about the workshop was given by Dr. Umang Patdiwala. He emphasized on the importance of design in day-to-day life and correlation of design in engineering.

Mr. Jatin Patel had given the expert talk on the topic. He had given many examples of design in context with the topics and had a good interaction with students. He had explained the functions of different tools of solidworks software which was very interesting. He had also shared information regarding the mould design and related features in solidworks software.

Asst. Prof. Savan Fefar had appreciated all the students for participating in this activity. A vote of thanks was given by him at the end of the program.
