10^th April, 2021.

The Department of Languages organized Redekunst: The Elocution Competition on 10^th April, 2021 virtually at Indus University. The event was catered to the first year enthusiasts of UG & PG disciplines where the selection was on the basis their outstanding performances branch-wise during their in-class continuous internal evaluation task held last month.  Total 16 best speakers from each branch were shortlisted to compete in this inter-departmental competition of Engineering & Humanities. The topics ranged from Indian Politics, Covid-19 to Feminism and Social Media.    Each participant made a noteworthy speech displaying not only their mastery of language but also their passion and depth of research into the topic. Student-audience from respective branches also made their presence felt by encouraging and motivating the Best Speaker of their class. The event was convened and judged by Dr. Mamta Pillai, Head, Dept. of Languages with the support and constant coordination by Ms. Pranjal Bhatt & Ms. Aashna Shah as program coordinators.
