Robotics Unplugged

August 27, 2021

Robots, our future. It’s been the talk of countless movies and books and shows and imaginative thinking. But why do you think that is? Because they really are our future.

On 27th August 2021, Indus University hosted a introductory session titled “Robotics Unplugged” to help the students learn more about robotics, their ideas for the future, their research and much more. The event was staged by our very own, Student Activity Cell (SAC) & the Robotic Club.

This workshop hosted 40+ participants. A display of a robot with its basic accessories were shown to the students. A follow-up lecture was also conducted by Prof. Darshan Bhatt (Faculty Coordinator, Robotics Club, SAC) & Adarsh Ambastha (Technical Head, SAC) to instil further knowledge on Robotics. Numerous topics and discussions also took place during the workshop such as: Introduction to robotics, types of robots, the basics of Arduino and other tools of Robotics.
