“The webinar on “Organization on Diet – Secrets Beyond Engineering” was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department, IITE, Indus University on 13th January 2022. Out of 177 registered participants from various Institutes and Universities across India, 66 participants including students, faculties, and Industry Personnel have actively attended the webinar. This webinar was a learning opportunity that helps to know how an organization/Industry does “DIET” to survive in the Market Competition. The webinar was started with an explanation of the basic terminologies of Lean Manufacturing & 3M. The guest speaker Mr. Amey Prakash Tattu has explained how to identify the value-added and non-value-added activities in any kind of organization. Later on, all the principles of lean were described through real-time examples. Introduction of all the basic tools of lean was introduced and 3M (MUDA, MURA & MURI) explained in detail. The webinar was arranged and coordinated by Dr. Dhiren R. Patel, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department.”
