Webinar on Conflict Management at Workplace

Most of us spend more time with our work colleagues than we do with our friends and families. For those working full-time, that’s eight hours or more a day, for five days or more a week.  Is it any surprise, therefore, that Conflict can sometimes arise?  There is a high cost to workplace conflict – emotionally, financially and on occasion, reputation wise.  A conflict can destroy a team which hasn’t spent time learning to deal with it’ so with an objective to assist us in this learning Women’s Development Cell organized a Webinar on Conflict Management at Workplace by Dr. Reena Shah from IIMS on 4^th July’20. 

The webinar highlighted many theoretical aspects of Conflict Management through which Dr. Shah illustrated how important it becomes for people in the organization to get to the heart of any conflict and handle the situation before it escalates.  The expert talk cum webinar was live-streamed on Indus University website and was followed by an interaction with live audience. During this unprecedented times under the aegis of Women’s Development Cell, the committee organized four webinars on multi-disciplinary topics to aid the teachers’ and students’ fraternity towards seamless teaching-learning process.
