Two days workshop on “3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing” 30-31 Jan 2020.
Indus Mechanical Engineering Association(IMEA) under the department of Mechanical Engineering organized a two-days workshop on“3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing”at ITE on 30th– 31st January 2020 for Mechanical Engineering students. Total 44 students participated in the workshop.
The Khodiyar CAD Center, Mr. Jatin Patel, Mr. Hardik Patel, Mr. Bhagyesh and his team brought all required 3D Printing equipment along with creative models. They enlightened the students about the importance, applications and opportunities in context with the 3D printing technology. He also showed the practical demonstration on 3D printing machine by means of various models prepared by Participants. The students developed model in Solidworks. The real life applications and models were also shown to the students. On 31st January 2020, there was a hands on practice and real experience by students and faculties with latest technology ARVR (Augmented reality and virtual reality).
Prof. Rahul Patel and Prof. Ravi Dabla coordinated the workshop along with the student IMEA Team. All the participants have been awarded with participation certificate by IMEA.
