Blood Donation Camp at Indus University

Every blood donor is a hero. The entire community of Indus University including students from all programs, faculty members, teaching associates, research associates and staff came together for a noble cause on 21^st April’16 Thursday.  A blood donation camp was organized at the Indus University campus in association with Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad where considerable units of blood were collected. The blood donation camp has been a tradition at the university campus for the last seven years since the inception of the institution.  Every year the camp is organized with a humble motive of creating general awareness among youth on campus.  This year the blood donation camp was inaugurated by Executive President (IU) Dr. S.B. Sharma, Director Operations (IU) Brig. A. P. Singh, Joint Registrar (IU) Mr. P.J. Maniar alongside student volunteers, laboratory assistants & administrative staff, who participated whole-heartedly to lend meaning to the cause.
