Founder – Footprints Design Inc (2009)

Mansi shah is the founder and design director at Footprints Design inc. She is an interior architect from CEPT – Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad (2001 batch). She has done her schooling from Mount Carmel School, Ahmedabad and higher secondary from St Xaviers Loyola Hall,Ahmedabad.

Alongside college she has undertaken training under various renowned design firms in the city. While working on her thesis she joined Ido Design as an executive designer for 3 years after which she decided to take the plunge herself. Footprints design is in its 11th year of existence.
She has worked on a varied number ,scale and type of projects including residential, commercial and retail.
Being a very hands on person she has always been personally involved with each project and client. She is living her childhood dream of becoming a spacial designer in the form of her firm.

“I think the best part of design is connecting with the client and understanding what their needs are for a space in the most comprehensive way. Often times a client has a hard time articulating what it is they actually need their space to do for them. Diving in, building a relationship and asking the right questions allows me to solve design dilemmas and create the best possible space for them.”
