Management is getting work done through people, however real management is developing People through work; it’s about leadership & at Indus University we nurture & enhance the potential leadership instinct in each one of us. This spirit of leadership expressed itself at the Annual Cultural Festival by the Department of Management rightly termed ‘Abhivyakti’14- the Power of Expression’ held at Indus campus on 29th March’14.

 

The programme included various management related games and activities which brought to the fore innate talent of student`s knowledge and managerial skills. The event saw a footfall of about 150 students from most management institutes and colleges across Gujarat. The participants were from Amerli, Rajkot, Surat & Ahmedabad.

 

Day one entailed learning through fun wherein more than 120 students enjoyed playing various games organized by the First and the Second Year students of the Department of Management. The games carried out with enthusiasm were Ground Zero, On & Off, Track & Trace, Ad- Mad show, Mashtishk Ki Jung, Sarvashrestha Vikreta, Make Over, Beat the clock, & Match Me -if you can to name a few. The student coordinators conducted the event efficiently. The event culminated with a highly exuberant and ebullient cultural evening. The evening witnessed high on adrenaline Dance, Drama and Song performances of the Indus Engineering and Management students. The energized environment transported the audience onto a different plane of entertainment and enchantment. The power packed performance left everyone spellbound, glued and clamoring for more.
