The Literary Club is glad to announce the names of the winners of its first literary event ‘Sahitya Saathe Samvaad’ for this academic year.

The event ‘Sahitya Saathe Samvaad’ was organized by Literary Club, SAC on 19^th Decemeber’20.  The nature of the event was Group Discussion on the movies Harry Potter: The Philosopher’s Stone (2001) and Omkara (2006), adaptations of classic literary works titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (1997) by J.K. Rowling and Othello (1603) by Shakespeare, which were critically analyzed. 

The jury for the competition were Mr. Monil Salot (Assistant Professor from Metallurgy Dept.), Ms. Aashna Shah (Lecturer, DoL) along with SAC Student Team. While the moderation by Ms. Pranjal Bhatt (Lecturer, DoL) rendered great momentum to the event. 

Under the able guidance of Dr. Mamta Pillai (Member SAC & Head, Dept of Languages) the event witnessed noteworthy participation from the First Year students exclusively, from various disciplines at Indus University.  The participants were judged on the basis of their critical thinking abilities, communication skills, group discussion techniques, online etiquettes and presentation of their ideas.  

The Literary Club extends gratitude towards all student-participants for their enthusiasm & engaging discussion and Team SAC for their whole-hearted support and coordination.
