Webinar on

Solving Mathematical Problems using Python

30 January 2021

Live streaming will be available here https://indusuni.ac.in/stream/

We are pleased to share with you that, Department of Mathematics, Indus Institute of Science, Humanities and Liberal Studies (IISHLS), Indus University is conducting a webinar on “Solving Mathematical Problems using Python

About the Webinar:  Mathematics is a very useful tool for a variety of fields like Science, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business, Management and many more. Mathematical modelling of various real-world problems in above fields gives rise to various types of  Mathematical problems. Such problems are difficult to solve manually. Hence the use of  Software becomes essential. This webinar gives you a gentle introduction to an open-source  programming language – Python to solve various Mathematical problems related Calculus,  Statistics, Algebra, Graph theory and more. Defining functions and plotting them using Python  is also included. This webinar is useful for all graduate, post graduate and PhD students  as well as faculties across various disciplines.

Key Points of the Webinar :

• Defining Mathematical functions and plotting them in 2D and 3D.
• Solving algebraic equations and system of equations
• Working with Complex Numbers and Matrices.
• Solving calculus related problems.
• Determining Laplace Transform and Fourier Transform
• Problems related to Statistical methods and Graph Theory.
