Civil Engineering Department, IITE, Indus University in association with The Institution of Engineers (India)-Gujarat State Center and The Gujarat Institution of Civil Engineers & Architects had organized webinar on “The Stories of Structures’: Inspiration & Innovation” on 01st August, 2020 during 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The opening remarks was given by Director – IITE Dr.-Ing Anupam Kumar Singh followed by a talk from key note speaker Prof. V. R. Shah (Former – H.o.D., CEPT University). He has discussed about the various stories of well known structures around the globe. There were three panel members from different professional expertise namely, Shri Vivek Kapadia (Director-SSNNL, Govt. of Gujarat), Ar. Mukul Goyal (Sr. Architect and Deputy Chairman – Arcasia Committee of Professional Practice) and Dr. Atul K. Desai (Professor – Civil Engineering Department, SVNIT, Surat). Webinar was concluded with discussion of speaker and panel members with the attendees during question and answers session.
The programme was moderated by Mr. Harsh Soni (H. o. D.) and coordinated by Mr. Tejas Rathi (Assistant Professor) from Civil Engineering Department.
