Two days Gujcost sponsored workshop on “Deep Learning & it’s Application in Agriculture, NLP, Image and Video Analysis with Hands-on-Session”. The workshop was organized on 15th and 16th of OCTOBER 2020.

Day-1 DL Workshop

Inauguration

The first part of the event begun on 15th OCTOBER 2020 with the Inauguration ceremony at 9:00 A.M. by offering our prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Dr.-Ing.Anupam Kumar Singh-Director IITE; gave opening remarks and officially started the event. After that our modest HOD  Dr.Seema Mahajan appreciated us with her kind words.

The Honourable Chief Guest of the pragmatic event was Dr.Sunil K Prasad-Chief Digital Transformation Architect (Healthcare Digital/Emerging Technologies ) USA Federal Organizations.He shared his knowledge of Deep Learning and gave us an overview about the Modern Technologies.

The team shared a small glimpse of Artificial Intelligence and then the session started.

Session-1

Resource Person: Dr. Snehal Joshi (Dean, Computer Science & IT faculty, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat)

Topics Covered:Past, Present & Future trends of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and its applications.

 Convolutional Neural Network fundamentals and Python Hands on. Fundamental ideas about deep learning and machine learning and it’s application areas. Understanding role of tensorflow and Keras. Practical implementation of CNN based classification problem using medical images.

Session-2

Resource Person : Dr. Chirag Patel(M.Tech, Ph.D., Nirma University )

Topics Covered: Convolutional Neural Network fundamentals and Python Hands on.

Timing : 12:30 – 2:30 P.M.

Understanding the basic fundamentals of CNN, its application and advantages. Real-time use cases of various models of CNN.

Timing : 2:30 – 4:30 P.M.

Topics Covered: Introduction, Advantage and Application of Neural Networks

Understanding the use of Deep Learning in Healthcare and Medical Sector. Learn what transfer learning is and how to use this technique to get better results. Classify diseases using traditional methods and Transfer Learning.
