On 3rd April 2019, Prof. Palak Joshi & Prof. Shashi Kant Tripathi have conducted Workshop on Solving Optimization Problems in Operation Research Using Solver. This workshop has encouraged students to develop their skills in solving optimization problems using software (Excel – Solver) related to operation research with specific focus on Linear Programming Problems, Assignment Problems, Transportation problems and Integer programming problems. Students have learned to solve complex optimization problems, preparing spread-sheets through case studies and Hands-on practice problems using software which is otherwise difficult to solve manually.
