Recently Electrical Engineering Department with Indus Electrical Engineering Student Association (i-EESA) organized two days Hands-on Workshop on ‘MATLAB’ on 25^th-26^th October’2018.

The workshop was conducted for Electrical Engineering students of 5^th and 7^th semester and Electronics Communication students of 5^th semester. Students of both branches took active participation in it. The expert sessions in the workshop were delivered by Electrical Engineering Faculties – Prof Hinal Shah, Prof Ishit Shah, Prof. Sweta Shah, Prof. Ruchit Soni and Prof. Honey Sharma.

This two-day workshop was aimed to give the hands-on experience to the students on MATLAB programming/coding, AI, GUI Tools, Electrical & Electronics tools in Simulink. This provided opportunities for the students to improve their knowledge and skills to be successful in today’s world which demands MATLAB for programming, design, analysis and implementation in the academics and industrial project applications also.

The students in the workshop enjoyed tea-snacks and lunch arranged by the department.In the end, the valedictory session was concluded by the Dean Academics along with the department faculties and the certificates were distributed to the participants. The feedback from the students was received personally as well as through feedback form which was quite encouraging.
