Recently Indus Electrical Engineering Student Association (I-EESA) of Electrical Engineering Department organized a Webinar on ‘Electrical Motors’ on 2^nd September 2020 (Wednesday) during 10.00 to 11.00 am, through Google Meet Online Mode.

The expert session was delivered by Dr. Ragavan K. (Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Gandhinagar), for 3^rd, 5^th and 7^th semester Electrical Engg. students. The speaker invited is Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and he is currently having around 14 years of experience in his field.

The expert speaker talked on DC Motors and Induction Motors,  their construction, behaviour and applications, which students are studying in their current semesters. Students also gained basic knowledge about the subject and were able to understand the electric motor behaviour and its characteristics. Around 40 number of students in total attended the session. The students were much benefited through such kind of exploring session. The expert liked talking to students as they were constantly involved in the session and were actively participating in it. The students also enjoyed the session as it was expressive and interactive.
