150 Years of Vande Mataram – Celebration at Indus University

Indus University commemorated 150 years of Vande Mataram by organizing a special event on 7th November 2025, as per UGC directives. The celebration highlighted the song’s enduring legacy as a symbol of India’s unity, strength, and national pride. The students, university management, and members from the villages of Rancharda, Nandoli, and Palodia—including Sarpanch and Talati-cum-Mantri participated with great enthusiasm.Students also took an oath to adopt Swadeshi and contribute to the nation’s progress through self-reliance and patriotism. The campus echoed with the powerful chorus of “Vande Mataram,” creating an atmosphere of unity and national spirit.

SUO Kartik Kiran from Indus University, representing 09 GUJ BN NCC, has brought immense pride to both the unit and university by securing selection for the highly prestigious Indian Military Academy (IMA) Attachment Camp. Vocal for Local 2025 - Think Local, Be Vocal – स्वदेशी अपनाओ, भारत बढ़ाओ!

Pre-Diwali Celebration at Jeevan Sandhya Old Age Home

The Department of Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering under ESYNC Association celebrated “Har Umr Ki Diwali: Khushiyan, Kahaniyan aur Masti Saath Saath” on 15th October 2025 at Jeevan Sandhya Old Age Home, Naranpura.Students spent a heartwarming afternoon with 150+ elderly residents, playing Housie, sharing stories, and spreading festive joy. Shawls, sarees, woollen items, groceries, and sweets were distributed — making this Diwali truly special.

Garba Workshop: A Festive Prelude to Navratri

"The Indus Student Activity Cell (iSAC) and Rotaract Club (RCIU) organized a lively Garba Workshop on 19th September 2025 at the Football Ground of Indus University as a prelude to Navratri. Experts from Rang Rasiya Garba Classes trained students in traditional and modern Garba steps, focusing on rhythm, synchronization, and stage confidence. The students participated enthusiastically, refining their movements while enjoying the folk culture experience. The session, coordinated smoothly by iSAC and RCIU, was both engaging and memorable. Experts were felicitated with mementos by the university in appreciation of their contribution. The workshop not only enhanced dance skills but also fostered a spirit of togetherness and festive celebration."
