Indus University , in collaboration with WIIA and the Indus Student Activity Cell (iSAC), proudly presents Indus Cup 2K26, a National Level Sporting Event that celebrates strength, skill, and sportsmanship. Scheduled from 5th to 10th January 2026 at the Indus University Campus, Rancharda, Ahmedabad, this grand event will bring together participants from across the country to compete in a wide range of sports including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, cricket, pickleball, arm wrestling, kabaddi, shot put, lawn tennis, chess, tug of war, box cricket, and pittu. With a total cash prize of up to ₹10,00,000, Indus Cup 2K26 promises to be a dynamic and inspiring celebration of teamwork, talent, and youthful energy. Join us to witness an extraordinary display of enthusiasm and excellence that defines the true spirit of sportsmanship. Indus University witnessed a vibrant ceremony for the unveiling of the poster of its prestigious national-level sports tournament, Indus Cup 2K26, on October 16, at Indus University campus. Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries emphasized that the Indus Cup is not merely a sports competition but a celebration of teamwork, talent, discipline, and sportsmanship. The event aims to foster a spirit of healthy competition and unity among students from various institutions across the country.
The Centre for Indic Studies, Indus University , is honoured to bestow the prestigious title of “विद्याज्योतिर्धरः(Vidyājyotirdharaḥ)” upon Ācārya Dr. Sthaneshwar Timalsina, Professor of India Studies at Stony Brook University, USA, and Founder of the Vimarsha Foundation. This honor is in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the global dissemination, preservation, and interpretation of Bhāratīya Jñāna Paramparā (Indian Knowledge Systems)—particularly in the domains of Tantra, Hindu Philosophy, Consciousness Studies, and Śāstrīya Wisdom. As a scholar who bridges traditional śāstra with modern hermeneutics, Ācārya Dr. Timalsina embodies the timeless spirit of Indic knowledge and thought. On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Indus University organized a soulful Sundarkand Path on campus. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, filled with devotion and positive energy, as they sought the blessings of Lord Hanuman.
